Biology Drug Screening:

High throughput drug screening technique is a new technique for the drug development. The core part of this technology consists with in vitro or cell level screening model, computer controlled working system and ingenious biology reaction testing system.

Advancing and deepening the computer-aided drug screening technique, we are developing an Integrated High-throughput screening Platform (IHP). This platform includes drug screening in the molecule and cell level. Molecular level screening is a process of using Gene engineering method to produce drug-target protein, then with the help of relevant biophysical technique to screen and valuate the compounds. While, cellular screening is the process of using cellular molecular biological technique to establish certain cell model that can express drug-target protein and finally reach the goal of screening and measuring the activities of compounds.

IHP system makes it available to screen the large number of synthesized compounds and natural chemical products as well as to evaluate the drug leads in their effectiveness, metabolism, side and cytotoxic effects rapidly and comprehensively. We believe that the IHP system will help greatly to the reduction of cost and time in the discovery and development of new drugs.

Biology techniques department owns many researchers, Doctors and Masters, who have long-term biology drug screening experience, and has successfully achieved biology screening for several kinds of drugs. During the short-term of participating in anti-SARS drug research, our techniques discovered the proper ways that SARS may destroy human body's normal cell by using biology information and molecule virtual method.
Furthermore, we also researched some relative dynamics process of Protein-Protein interactions, Peptide-Protein interactions with a way of biology testing. And we also testified the discovery of molecule virtual and computer virtual screening methods.
